marquis, may god bless you and shine his face upon you. you are doing a great work for the lord. two years ago, i saw your performance on television. and seeing you recite the word of god, ignited a desire in my heart to begin memorizing the scriptures anew. and since that point i have been memorizing books from the new testament, beginning with the shortest books, and working my way up. i can attest to God’s greatness, and his perfect gift, for i am not able to recite 14 books of the new testament.
do you happen to know if there are others like us, who also delight in memorizing the scripture. i have found a person who wants to join me in memorizing the new testament. however, i would love greatly to find more people to join us in this task. i live in the los angeles, ca area, and would like to increase in my knowledge of god’s word, so that i may follow in your footsteps, and bless others with the gift of god in me. i want to speak as one who speaks oracles of god.
may god’s spirit be upon you, as you serve him and bring glory to his name, amen.

*correction… i meant to write that i AM able now to recite 14 books of the new testament. it has not been easy. i believe i now spend a couple of hours a day memorizing and practicing books. But it has been worth it to see the fruit of my perseverance.
