This week Marquis covers what the Bible says about having patience for God’s plan to be revealed in our lives. Below is the full text of the devotional.

Is your world falling apart while you’re waiting on God? Listen to what the Bible says about patience. “Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him. Fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices.”  Psalm 37:7 ESV “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your request be known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding will guide your hearts and your minds, in Christ Jesus. ” Philippians 4:6-7 ESV “For still the vision awaits its appointed time, it hastens til the end. It will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it, it will surely come. It will not delay.” Habakkuk 2:3 ESV “Be patient therefore brothers, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the Earth, being patient about it, until it receives the early and the late rains. You also be patient. Establish your hearts for the coming of the Lord is at hand.”  James 5:7-8 ESV  “Therefore, do not throw away your confidence which has a great reward for you have need of endurance so when you have done the will of God, you may receive what is promised. For yet a little while and the coming one will come and will not delay. But my righteous one shall come and live by faith, but if he shrinks back, my soul has no pleasure in him. But we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who have faith and preserve their souls.” Hebrews 10:35-40 ESV “Better is the end of a thing than its beginning and the patient in sprit is better than the proud in sprit.” Ecclesiastes 7:8 ESV “Wait for the Lord. Be strong and let your heart take courage. Wait for the Lord.” Psalm 31:24 ESV To see more from the Bible about patience and other topics, visit  ActsOfTheWord.com today.
